Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Artline Epoxy Resin for your home projects.
What is the recommended mixing ratio for Artline Epoxy Resin?
Most of our standard casting resins use a 2:1 ratio by weight. However, please check the specific instructions on your bottle as some specialty deep-pour or coating resins may vary.
How long does it take for the resin to fully cure?
Our resin typically becomes touch-dry within 24 hours at room temperature, but we recommend waiting 72 hours for a full chemical cure before heavy use or polishing.
Is Artline Epoxy Resin food-safe for kitchen items?
Yes, once fully cured, our resin is non-toxic and compliant with food safety standards, making it perfect for charcuterie boards, coasters, and countertops.
What should I do if my resin arrives frozen or cloudy?
During colder months, resin may crystallize. Simply place the tightly sealed bottles in a warm water bath (about 40°C) for 15-20 minutes until the liquid becomes clear again.
